ORIENTEERING TASK. COMPASS OR MAP.

Las tareas a realizar para Orienteering será a elegir entre una de las dos siguientes.

The tasks at hand for the teaching unit orientation will be chosen between this two as follows.

TASK 1. HAPPINESS COMPASS.
Tras haber estudiado las partes de la brújula en inglés en el blog en el apartado PE Units/Outdoor Adventurous activities, deberéis confeccionar una brújula con los siguientes materiales:

After studying the parts of the compass in English from the blog entry PE Units / Outdoor Adventurous activities, students will have to make a compass with these materials:

MATERIALES:
- Dos folios tamaño A4.
- Lápiz y goma.
- Compás.
- Colores o rotuladores.
- Pincho de unión de los dos folios (encuadernador) o alternativa.
- Algún objeto para la aguja magnética (ej. encuadernador fastener) o alternativa.

MATERIALS:

Two sheets of paper size A4

Pencil and eraser

Compass

Colored pencils or markers

A brass fastener to hold the two sheets together (or something similar)

An object to magnizise the needle. 

Debéis PONER UN TÍTULO EN INGLÉS A LA BRÚJULA.

You have to WRITE THE TITLE OF THE COMPASS IN ENGLISH

Con motivo de la crisis del Covid y la actual guerra de Ucrania, entIendo que es importante mantener la energía y potenciar la ayuda mutua. Por tanto, el alumnado insertará varias palabras orientadas a la paz en inglés situándolas en los grados de la brújula que quieran (ver borrador a tipo de ejemplo. Puede ser diferente al modelo ejemplo).

 

Due to the occasion of the crisis of the Covid 19 and the Ukraine where everybody should be together showing respect and help, students will insert several words having to do with peace by placing them on the degree marks of the compass in English (see BORRADOR for example. The compass does not have to match the model example).

Finalmente, a título de resumen, la brújula quedará configurada con un título en inglés referente a la paz, descripción de las partes de la brújula en inglés y colocación de palabras pacíficas en los distintos grados. Se valorará la creatividad y la originalidad.

 

In summary, the compass will be configured with a title in English referring to peace, a description of the parts of the compass in English and the placement of words of peace on the degrees marks. Creativity and originality will be assessed.

TASK 2. CREATE A MAP.

Usando las indicaciones y ayudas de la app google map, deberéis crear en un folio A4 un mapa a mano desde algún lugar de las Lagunas de Mijas (vuestra casa, vuestro polideportivo, etc.) hasta el colegio CEIP Tamixa. Se valorará los detalles y su creatividad a la hora de su creación. Se recomienda que investiguéis en su uso: street view, cronología, etc. la cual os será muy útil para orientaros en vuestro futuro día a día como ya vimos el año pasado.

Ambas actividades forman parte de la tarea del google classroom publicada.Elige una de ella o la de escalada para completar tu tarea.
